Peggy & Oprah

On November 8th, 2014 I had the experience of a lifetime. Truly my wildest dream come true. Oprah was in Seattle for a 2 day event called ‘The Life You Want’. There were 10,000 people in Key Arena on that day of inspiration and magic.

I was asked, based on a Deeper Cravings Twitter post/picture that I had put up, to meet Oprah, my most beloved teacher, on stage and share my story about the picture.

What felt particularly significant about this moment was that I had the opportunity to remind all those women about their right to be free in their body, to remind them all that their weight does not determine their worth. The moment that I describe to Oprah was the start of my own personal Deeper Cravings journey.
