Meet Amadeus


The evidence behind AAT– C is very compelling. Therapeutic animals have been shown to support greatly with anxiety and depression. When a therapy dog is introduced into a psychotherapy practice it can aid in the therapeutic encounter by creating increased warmth in the therapeutic space, reducing anxiety while discussing difficult content, teaching mindfulness, furthering the therapeutic relationship through an increased experience of unconditional positive regard, along with many other reported benefits.
